Varian Edge® is a unique system that allows real-time tracking of a target (tumor) in 6 directions in 2-, 3-, 4D modes and monitoring the patient's respiratory movements using SRS stereotactic surgery or stereotactic extracranial radiation therapy SBRT.

Tracking the change in the position of the tumor inside the patient’s body can be carried out both by internal markers and by external non-invasive means of positioning the patient.

This platform allows you to minimize the risks of unwanted exposure to tissues and organs located next to the tumor with increasing dose rate.

An innovative multi-lobe collimator with a 2.5 mm petal size allows you to achieve extreme accuracy of the dose.
The maximum dose rate of 2400 IU / min - significantly reduces the exposure time.

Intelligent contouring technology - SmartSegementation® streamlines the workflow and makes it easier to define the boundaries of targets as well as risk organs.

SmartSegementation® is characterized by unique accuracy and a high dose of radiation, which is delivered to the tumor in just a few minutes and guarantees reliability thanks to a multi-stage visualization system and dynamic control of the procedure. The patient is provided with maximum comfort during treatment. This method is highly effective in relation to benign and malignant tumors, both primary and metastatic.
